Following great experience
and successful performance achieved on the tracks in the racing
scooter segment,
Sava has decided to enter the very demanding Pocket Bike
market. Following results obtained under varying test
conditions (track, rider, weather, etc) and feedback received from
professional racers, Sava has made several modifications to their tyres
so that each reaches optimal performance in certain
conditions. To do this, they have developed 3 different rubber
compounds, 2 tread patterns, 2 constructions and 2 sizes. These
tyres are designed to give the very best in handling and grip
characteristics to ensure a fast, safe and fun riding
experience.
As many racers are fast
discovering in the world of tyres, there is rubber.....and then
there is rubber! Many people mistakenly think that the
"compound" of a tyre is just to do with how hard or soft a
tyre is. In actual fact, the compound of a tyre not only
refers to the hardness / softness, but much more importantly - it
involves the chemical composition of the rubber that gives it its
surface repulsive or attractive qualities. The chemical
composition of the Chinese Minimoto tyre is made up of a very
repulsive compound - that is to say that they 'repel' a track
surface - (even the softer makes), whereas the likes of PMT &
Sava have a chemical composition that has excellent surface
attractive qualities.
